Today’s all about love, and I’m feeling extra sentimental as we’re nearing a huge moment - our 20th anniversary on the 22nd. During this special time, something unexpected hit me.
The other night, my boys and I watched ‘Gifted Hands’, the incredible story of Dr. Ben Carson and his groundbreaking surgery on the first conjoined twins. Even knowing the successful outcome, I was totally gripped by every scene. My son caught my worried look and asked, “Mummy, why do you look so worried?” That moment really made me think.
It drove home the real power of faith. Even when we know how the story ends, we still feel the weight of the journey. Reflecting on the past 20 years with my partner, through all the highs and lows, it’s been our shared faith that’s really kept us grounded. It’s a powerful reminder that, in the face of all life’s unknowns, having faith is what lets us trust in a wonderful outcome.
So, this Valentine’s Day, let’s hold onto love and faith, not just in our relationships, but in everything we do. Cheers to 20 years of love, learning, and sticking together. Remember, even when times get tough, having faith means believing it’ll all work out in the end. 💖
