Entrepreneurship will do that to you.
Last week I woke up with that familiar knot in my stomach…How on earth am I going to get through to the end of the year?
Entrepreneurship will do that to you.
One moment you’re on fire and ready to take on the world. The next, you’re looking at invoices that haven’t cleared, chasing momentum, building new offers, and trying to stay consistent.
I tend to get still, Pray a little longer and ask God for wisdom.
It’s wild because when things are going well, we shout from the mountains.
But when things feel tough?
Most people stay quiet.
To remain successful in a unpredictable climate we must pay attention to what’s working now.
It’s so easy to try to do what you’ve always done.
So this week I carved out a strategy week in my diary, packed a single backpack, bible in hand, and flew to Athens.
(Living alone without my children; every other week feels strange and sad at times, so I try to find a cheap flight and find the sun)
This week has been about reflecting, reviewing, and responding.
We recently delivered the Lead With Story Masterclass, and I’m super proud of it.
52% of everyone who signed up attended live.
I walked them through how to craft a story, the science behind why storytelling works, and the same structure that helped me go from being paid £300 per talk to £10,000.
The goal was to inspire and to invite people into a deeper conversation about crafting their own signature story.
But here’s the twist…
The people who booked into my calendar didn’t come from the masterclass.
So here I am, in Athens, analysing the data, studying behaviour, searching for the gap.
I’ve come to accept that that rarely work perfectly the first time. But if you’re willing to adjust the pieces, you’ll find the combination that clicks.
And when it clicks?
It changes everything.
