That’s the kind of leadership I want to embody.

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

— Matthew 20:28 NIV

Let’s pause right there.

Jesus didn’t come to take the spotlight. He is the spotlight—and yet He chose the towel. He chose the cross. He chose service.

That’s the kind of leadership I want to embody.

Not the kind that demands attention.

But the kind that gives attention.

Not “look at me” but “how can I serve you?”

Leadership isn’t about titles, stages or followers. It’s about how low you’re willing to go for love.

Jesus washing His disciples’ feet wasn’t just symbolic. It was instructional.

He was saying: “This is what greatness looks like.”

So today, as I reflect on this verse, I’m asking:

Who has God placed in my life that I can serve today?

What would it look like to lead from love, not ego?

Because leadership that looks like Jesus will always look like service.
