What if there actually is another way?

What if there actually is another way?

Lately I’ve been thinking deeply about the Sermon on the Mount from the Gospel of Matthew and why it keeps pulling me back.
I think it’s because it feels like the opposite frequency to the world we are currently operating in.
The world keeps telling us to make more noise, push harder, optimise more, build better funnels, capture more leads, get more visibility, sell harder,
perform more, produce more, monetise everything.
And honestly… does anyone else feel like this just doesn’t align? And it’s blooming exhausting 💁🏾♀️
I spent the first hour of morning praying, and something inside me knows that constantly operating from anxiety, pressure and hyper-performance cannot be the only way to build a successful life. Yet most of us keep doing it because we feel like it’s the only way.
That’s the part I’ve been wrestling with. I’ve been sitting with the idea that maybe what’s exhausting people is not hard work itself, but the emotional and psychological cost of building in ways that disconnect us from ourselves.
I don’t want to become a machine that just creates noise to survive.

I want to use my God given gift to teach people to be confident speakers. I want to help people think deeper and to share stories that adds value and impact the people who need to hear it. I want to create things that remind people that they are not alone and that there’s a way to move through life with honesty. I’m building my business through trust and humanity.

What if there actually is another way?

When I was in Bali, I saw something that excited me.

People who go to Bali are people who are forward thinking and want a better life. They want to build something for the rest of the world. Instead of aggressively competing, people exchanged services, supported one another, share skills, opened doors and helped each other grow from the inside out. The people are the experts in their industry. One person might offer branding, another photography, web design, business strategy, editing, coaching or like me storytelling.
And instead of every interaction being: “What can I extract from you?” it became: “What can I show or share to help you build.
I think so many people are sitting on incredible gifts but are exhausted by the way the modern business world tells them they have to package themselves to survive.
So I’ve been thinking about creating something called Swap Service Universe. A space for people who know they have a skill, service or gift that can help others, but who want to build in a more human way. You come in with your service, you tell us what your skill is, in return, you gain access to other people’s skills, services, support and ecosystem too.

A creative economy built on contribution, trust, collaboration and reciprocity And I know this maybe sounds idealistic.
But I also think humans are craving this, I think people are tired and want connection and want to feel useful, valuable and seen without having to constantly perform.

And maybe “seek first the Kingdom” is not about abandoning ambition. Maybe it’s about building from peace instead of fear.
