Every spring we start feeling the urge to clear out.
We fling open the windows.
We shake out the rugs.
We open that one drawer the one full of tangled cords, receipts from 2019, and things we forgot we owned.
But what if we did the same with our beliefs?
Louise Hay said something beautiful about spring cleaning not just of our homes, but of our inner world.
“When you open a drawer, you don’t get angry at what’s in there. You just look. You decide what stays. What goes. And what’s no longer serving you.“
That’s exactly how we need to approach our beliefs.
No judgment.
No drama.
Just awareness.
What have you shoved to the back of the drawer?
What belief has slipped between the cushions of your mind and is now shaping your decisions in ways you haven’t noticed?
Maybe it’s:
“I’m not good enough.”
“I can’t change.”
“People like me don’t get to have that kind of life.”
It’s time to gently pull those beliefs out, hold them up to the light and ask?
Do I want to keep this?
Does this still serve me?
Or is this something I’m ready to throw away?
This is the work I do with my clients.
We spring clean the soul.
And no one and I mean no one has ever felt worse after doing it.
Every single person walks away feeling lighter, clearer, and more powerful.
So this Easter, this spring break, while you’re freshening up your space make time to freshen up yourself.
Do a belief audit.
Do a value review.
And remember…
We can’t grow if we’re holding onto everything from the past.
Let go.
Clear out.
Make space for the new you.Das
